Like Andy in the movie Toy Story (1 and 2), I have a few toys that I really like to spend my time with. These are matchboxes that my Mama Noni and Papa Lee bought at a discount shop about a year ago. I have managed (with my Mama and Papa occassionally hiding them when its school days) to keep them in good playing shape. I call them Lightning Mcqueen, Sally and Chickhicks. And this blog entry is dedicated to them. Check this out!
There you go, and here is how I look like everytime I don’t get to play with them…
Now you know

This morning we got up a little early so that we could maintain our 3rd row seats (as we always make it a point to sit down there every sunday). We expected an overflow crowd today as the Church Among the Palms (CAP) in UPLB hosts its Children’s Sunday worship in the 9:30am service.
Today I learned about King (Fat) Jehosaphat. He was a well-loved and respected king in the early days. It was because he always did God’s will and practically trusted God in leading his people. I also learned that problems are not problems when I pray to God. And I learned how fasting can make one’s prayer more powerful – funny when King Fat Jehosaphat became King Flat Jehosaphat (for a flatter tummy after he fasted). I liked the way the soldiers marched and the way the priests prayed with their minds. God wanted us to pray with our hearts and that was all that mattered to Him. We kids really have our own special way of sending a powerful message to the grown ups.
Too bad my Papa forgot to bring a camera to take pictures of the musical. Maybe if we can request some pictures from the church then I can post it next time.
Oh and by the way, don’t forget to use simple words when we pray like – I love YOU, I trust YOU and I need YOU. – Maybe next year I can join a musical like that at Church Among the Palms. Who knows…

It was my first day of Prep school I remember, that extreme emotions of fear and excitement filled my heart (and tummy). So many new kids and so many nice things to play around with inside my first classroom at the Day Care Center Laboratory at UPLB. There was this cute and friendly little girl whom later on the day I got to know. Her name is Willa. From that day on, we bonded like true buddies. We shared dinosaur costumes, ice cream drops and played together at the school playground after class.
She recently just celebrated her 4th birthday and everybody (me,mama Noni, Papa Lee, ate Eezang, ate Jenny) went to her house in Bay Laguna to celebrate with her. We had fun playing the hula hoops, watching some episodes of High School Musical and of course – good food (cooked and prepared by Tita Mhae Rose).
See you on my birthday Willa – that is coming very soon!
